Well, I was gonna do a "Ten Reasons I Loved The Deathly Hallows and One Reason I Did Not". But I can't. Here's the problem: There were FAR to many things I loved, and virtually nothing I didn't. I've even come to terms with that damn epilogue, and I can't even dislike it anymore. Everything was so perfect. Perhaps I wish Snape had not died as he had, with no one and nothing and still bitter and horrible, but even that sorta fits. He was bitter and alone in life, so it was only right that he died the same way. And the whole pensieve thing kind of made up for it.

The thing is, I'm utterly in love with the Deathly Hallows. I'm sure in a few months I'll be able to check out some of the lovely fanfiction that's cropped up while I've been on hiatus from HP fic, but until then I'm content to bask in the bittersweetness that is the end of the Harry Potter canon.

All I've got to say is...thank god for fanon. Half the characters I most loved reading about died. I want to read about the after-effects of the war, but it's nice to know that there are people out there as willfully oblivious as I am who will pretend nothing in this book never happened for the sake of a good Snarry.
