Death Note has ended, and it was absolutely wonderful. More wonderful than I could have ever imagined.
And now I find myself at somewhat of a loss.
Someone help me decide please!
Light's death was...perfect. Never has a more absolutely beautiful death scene existed, I swear. I dare you to watch it and disagree. L's death was, well, heartbreaking, infuriating, completely sob-worthy, but Light's death was just perfect. It was gorgeous, all five minutes of his dying. I know I'm getting redundant, but hey! It's hard for me to find words for it, so I figure if I keep repeating the same thing it will convey just how apt it was. Light was a beautiful boy--the prettiest in the series, as a matter of fact, but evil and rancid to his core. It was only appropriate that his death was pretty, gorgeous even, but bloody (sooooo bloody) and rather gruesome. Such symmetry appeals to me immensely.

Near said some pretty ambiguously phrased things, so
I immediately wanted to start the on the idea I had of Mello somehow surviving (it works in my head, so bugger off), and yet, I almost feel like I'd be, I dunno, cheapening the experience or something by trying to write fanfiction about it. But there're just so many loose ends! What's a girl to do?Someone help me decide please!
