*is dazzled*
I've just finished reading the most amazing Harry Potter fanfiction ever. It's 'The Sacrifices Arc' a series by Lighting on the Wave. And OMG, I just cannot put into words how much I absolutely adore this story. And I find myself unable to properly review it, simply because I can't do it objectively. So much of my soul is tied up in this story that I can't separate from the emotions involved while reading it.
At first I was reluctant to read it, because I'd begun to read one or two with the same premise and they were... dismal to say the least. However once I did get up the nerve and enough curiosity to begin reading, I was hooked by the second chapter. I read all five of the completed installments in about two weeks, mostly because I couldn't *do* anything else. Literally could not do anything else. I resented going to work. I resented sleeping (and in fact lost many many hours of sleep by skimming an hour or two off the time I usually went to bed) Hell, I even resented the two or three minutes it took me to fix a bologna sandwich (which is pretty much what I lived on the duration of my infatuation)
I want to strongly recommend this story to anyone who happens upon my journal. You can find it on livejournal, fanfiction.net, and skyhawke. The first story is called 'Saving Connor'
