5 things that made my day hellish:
1. I caught my dog with chocolate and wigged out
2. I was ordered, ordered, to start packing.
3. The tummy sickness is back and damned if I know how to get rid of it.
4. I'm really really skanky, yet have no will to take a shower.
5. Found out She's getting out in September and will probably be Around sometime next year.
and two things that made it bearable
1. Teresa called, and even though the power blips kept interrupting we had a nice convo.
2. I got my hands on a really cute adorable fic that just absolutely sent me into the clouds with bliss bliss bliss.
All together, the two good things balanced out the not good.
And watching scrubs is always good for mindlessly sinking into a world where only gleeful squeeling and wibbly lip-biting exist.
...I watched a lot of Scrubs today.
Apparently my anime phase has *cough* 'phased out' so to speak. Can't say I'm surprised, actually. I really really really needed some new blood, y'know? And between HP and my obsessive compulsive hunt for yaoi or at least slashable anime this summer, I was reaching the end of several ropes without any safety nets to catch me.
Shank you Scrubs! Now I have a completely new thing to be obsessed about!
It helps that JD is such a girl, actually, and very prone to act like one. Less of a transition from prettiful animation to, er, real life (?)
I've been thinkin' 'bout doing some character pieces about him actually. I can really relate to his, um, call it overactive imagination. But I'm way way way too afraid to even attempt to attempt to do anything of the sort for Dr. Cox. He's probably one of the scariest characters to try to think about in a fanfiction-writer-y way. I'd feel like he was glaring at me from the screen *shudders*
Plus it's not a good sign if I still can't really bear to refer to him as anything other than Dr. Cox in my head. ^^"
Okies, so I'm off to overhaul my profile. It's about due.
